You are a partner. Everything below gets you set up properly, in the order that matters. Work through "Start here" once and you are done.
Four things, once. The order matters: your spots carry your settings to everyone who installs them, so get them right before you start sharing.
In the app, open Settings and fill in your public title and your logo link. Both are visible to every user who sees your spots, and your logo is used on your partner page. Trouble with the logo? Mail it to info@surf-signal.com with your partner id and we will set it for you.
Add every spot you want to share and set the conditions that make a session or a lesson work there. Add a separate condition set per discipline if the ranges differ, for example one for kite and one for wing.
Once we have reviewed your setup you get an email from SurfSignal. It confirms you are live and contains your recovery code, so keep it somewhere you will still find it in a year. Questions in the meantime? Mail info@surf-signal.com.
Your spots only reach the people you put them in front of. Put your partner page link in your booking and cancellation emails, print the QR poster, tell your instructors to share spots on the beach, and add the widget to your website.
A spot is copied to someone's device at the moment they install it, together with the conditions you had set then. Change those conditions later and existing installs keep the old version, while everyone who installs afterwards gets the new one. Your public information is different: that stays live everywhere, so you can update it whenever you like.
Every partner has a public page. You find the link in the app settings, and it looks like this:
https://surf-signal.com/p/{your partner id}/
This is the page to send people to. From here your customers install your spots on their own device in one tap. Once installed they are notified when the conditions you set are met, and they can see all of your public information in the app, so make sure your profile is complete.
Your logo appears here automatically once you have added the logo link in Settings.
Booking and cancellation emails. The single most effective place. Those emails already reach your customers at the moment the weather is on their mind. One line with your partner page link turns a cancellation into a reason to come back.
The printable QR poster. Your partner page has a print button. It opens a print-ready page with short instructions and your own QR code. Hang it in the canteen, the changing room, the bus or the bar. People scan it, land on your partner page and install your spots on the spot.
Per spot, from inside the app. Every spot has a share button that produces a link or a QR code, which is handy for people who are not in your contacts. Share the link or let them scan, and they are guided straight to that spot. To point them at your whole partner page instead, share the QR from Settings.
Your own channels. The same link works in a newsletter, a link in bio, a class group chat or a pinned community post.
Instagram. When you post that wind is coming, tag SurfSignal and we share it on.
Show your own spots, your conditions and the daily result on your own website. Paste this where you want it to appear and replace {your partner id} with your id, the code from your partner page link. By default all of your spots load.

You can see the widget running on the partner page.
Your device is the source. Your partner page, the partner map in the app and the widget are refreshed from it every time you:
After someone installs one of your spots, two different things happen:
These settings are never carried over when someone installs a shared spot, because they are device settings. If they matter for your spot, tell people about them:
Tip: note them in your public information, so everyone who installs your spots can match them.
